John Kørner (b. 1967) is a visual artist working within a wide range of medias; paintings, ceramics, installations, video, glass, theather, and book productions. In his work he embraces a wide range of current situations: consumerism, climate changes, war fare, and human relations. At first sight we are touched by a colourfull palette which pleases our eyes and senses until til moment where we realize the actual matter of the work.
Problems are Kørner's main subject where they both serve as a physical object and as a recurring questioning; we all have problems and if we did not have any problems, in what way would we then question our surroundings?
